dressed up like a lady: Thanks is a plural word.

Nov 26, 2008

Thanks is a plural word.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to everybody residing in the States (and to everybody else, for that matter). While a yearly harvest festival is probably a relatively worldwide phenomenon, the American version specifically involves eating turkey, showing gratitude, and romanticizing the colonization of Indian lands.

Well, my family is vegetarian, so we've always made a cheese souffle on Thanksgiving. And aside from all my holier-than-thou scoffs and cynical bitching, I have no course of action to repair the damages of Colonialism. However, I am a fan of saying thank you. So even though it's kind of hokey, I want to thank everybody who reads my silly little blog.

And as long as I'm saying more than six words here, I'd like to mention that I am a huge flake. I always have a running list of blogs I want to add to my blogroll, but why I don't just add them as soon as I think of it is a mystery that's only solved with the conclusion that I am a ridiculous human being. So please, if you'd like to trade links, I implore you to comment or drop me an email (my address can be found through the Profile link to the right) with your URL and title.

  10. I love this outfit (only to be expected) and that key necklace is gorgeous. Thank you so much for having me on your inks list, but if it's not too much trouble, could I ask for you to change the link to read "Style child"? Sorry, that is really trivial and it's perfectly fine if you don't do it - I can be very nit-picky sometimes, sorry.
