dressed up like a lady: Pennies from heaven.

Jul 17, 2009

Pennies from heaven.

Vintage 30's Dress: Local antique store
Shoes: Target

People in 1930's musicals are always alternating between widely opposite poles.

Sad, Depression-era hardship...
And exuberant Busby Berkley dance numbers.

  7. Hah! I was with you when you bought those shoes. That was the day that lady with the cute baby yelled at us for no reason.

All this outfit needs is Maurice Chevalier.

  15. A Spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down,
    The medicine go down-wown,
    The medicine go down,
Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down,
    In a most delightful way.
