dressed up like a lady: Reappropriation.

Jul 13, 2009

Reappropriation.

Shirt: Reappropriated
Bowler Hat: Local Shop, Sam's
Jazz Shoes: Local dancewear store
Cropped faux leather moto jacket: H&M

Brought along some trusty Steve Madden heels...but my feet got tired from pulling this wagon of imaginary bricks to an imaginary construction site. What an uninspired pretending game.

  1. I couldn't have pulled that imaginarily heavy wagon with as much panache. You look lovely as always!

My boyfriend is only 5'7 and a bone.
We can share t-shirts, but you definitely make me wish he was a bit taller because you look darling.

  5. Ooh, I love/want those black sneakers! My boyfriend is 6'3", and I'm only 5'2", so maybe I should do a little wardrobe reappropriation myself...

  23. Hey gorgeous C! Fun photo shoot! Love your hat!
And I must say I am extraordinarily jealous that you have a 6'6" BF - I am 5'10" and I love to wear heels but I always dwarf my dates!

  24. You always seem to manage to look like a doll! Anyway, about your friendship answer, I could not agree more. I have a friend whom when we first met...we went out together the day we met. And it was just the most awkward two hours I've ever had to spend in my life. I just kept on rambling, and anytime a silence came on, I quietly cringed internally. It was way too awkward for my liking. But now when there's silence, it no longer bothers me. It took six months for that to happen. Friendship does take time I guess.
