dressed up like a lady: Put your kid gloves on.

Oct 14, 2010

Put your kid gloves on.

I'm embarrassed to say it, but this dress was left hanging in the Future Sewing Projects area of my closet for many months before I realized that I was mistaken for putting it there, and it didn't need any work.

It reminds me a little bit of the dress Zoey Deschanel wears during the Ikea scene in 500 Days of Summer.

Although weirdly enough, with my jacket on over it, I ended up going for Debbie Harry instead.

As a side note: the next time you're watching a sexy burlesque dancer elegantly remove her gloves, be sure to give it up for her skills, because that shit is harder than it looks.
