dressed up like a lady: Circular reasoning.

Aug 22, 2011

Circular reasoning.

One of my favorite no-brainer outfits is a circle skirt with a fitted top. It's uniform dressing at its best: you can't beat that New Look silhouette, even on a day you feel all bloated and water-logged (oh menstruation, why do you do this to me?).

Oh, and my apologies to anyone who noticed that a big chunk of my archive wasn't available over the weekend. It was a minor problem with my Flickr account, but most of my old posts are now restored, and the rest will be back in short order.

I get occasional contact requests on Flickr, but I usually don't do anything with them because I'm not very active on Flickr. I mostly use it to upload inspiration photos, and almost all of the pictures I add to my account these days are posted private (largely because I don't want to go around hosting copyrighted photographs by the hundreds). Only the occasional batch I forget to mark that way is visible, so I don't really have much to offer as a Flickr contact. Just FYI. It's not you, it's me! ;)

  2. I love that your "uniform" is such a feminine and vintage-inspired silhouette. And I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but I die for your hair. I couldn't wear it myself (round face and all) but you rock it like the style was created just for you. Gorgeous, dahling.
