Tell me: are you interested in the chance to win a gorgeous, vintage inspired dress from Shabby Apple?
Well, you came to the right place!
I LOVE the inspiration behind this independently owned and operated online boutique. Every whimsical, classy, feminine women's dress they create is ready to wear on its own -- no slip, camisole, or convertible bra required. You'll never need a tank top to deal with an unrealistic neckline, or half slip to deal with a sheer skirt. How brilliant is that?
The Shabby Apple dress I'm giving away is a classy, 1940's inspired number called the Too Darn Hot.
To enter the giveaway, just like Shabby Apple's Facebook page, then comment on this post, and tell me your favorite place to wear a red dress. Examples include: cocktail parties, the dentist, and the funeral of an ex-lover, just to name a few. I'll pick a winner via random number on Tuesday Night, and announce the winner on Wednesday morning.
Oh and one more thing: if you decide to do a little shopping at Shabby Apple, you can enter the promo code dressedlikelady10off and can get 10% off your order! :)
Note: If you post an Anonymous comment, you MUST post an email address! Otherwise I won't be able to prove who's who when I draw a number to see who the winner is!

There is no inappropriate place for a red dress (okay maybe a funeral), but my fav is either the Velvet Tango Room in Cleveland or Cliff Bell's in Detroit. Nothing like being in an incredible red dress in a beautiful old club listening to Jazz with a dashing boy and a good cocktail.
ReplyDeleteAt my divorce hearing! HA ... loser!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! I would wear it on my New Year's Eve date!! I ALWAYS dress up on New Years regardless of where I am. Breaking the New Year in wearing that number would guarantee an amazing 2012 - right!?!?! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this classy lil number, I would totally wear this to the theatre, But my favorite place to wear a smokin red dress is the jazz club with a sweet cocktail in hand. Love this blog, endless inspiration <3

Oh my!! Sooo freaking gorgeos!!! I think my favorite place to wear a smokin' red dress like that would be out to dinner and then to some bowling with my favorite person in the world. Also, this wouldn't be a bad Christmas/New Year's dress either.
ReplyDeleteLove this dress, I think I'd wear it out for cocktails and dancing with a guy that will treat me like a lady :P
ReplyDeleteWOW! So elegant!
ReplyDeleteI could see myself wearing this to a play this winter with my boyfriend.

I love to wear red dress on a very romantic night especially when I am dating with my hubby! Red for me means everlasting love and affection on your partner!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a good time to wear a red dress... That said I like to wear mine to work. It's a small office full of men wearing jeans and crocs. I like to dress up, bring some life into the workplace, and turn heads.
ReplyDeleteAmazing post!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'd wear that dress to the opera. It has the right amount of sophistication to be worn to the opera, but just enough spice and sass to stand out!
