dressed up like a lady: Wikipatterns!

May 25, 2012

Thank you to Kirsty from Brand New Armour for sending me the link to the dangerously addictive site Wikipatterns! If you're a fan of practically ANY vintage style, I highly recommend checking it out.

Kirsty sent me straight to the bridal section, which immediately reminded me of how I could never, ever choose just one single era of vintage style to adore! When you see so many examples of beauty and style from the various decades, don't you just want to revel in each and every one, and dress from a different age every day of the week? Don't you just see yourself in everything? I can't be the only one. (I know this because MC took the liberty of making each of these into me!)

  1. dear cammila!
    I love the 50's and the 60's and definetly can see me in one of those dresses. (reminder to myself: find a boyfriend!)The 70's and 80's, well that looks good too, but not on my body. ;) I'm a little to muche for those dresses, but I guess you would look so adorable in the 8th pattern.

  2. I adore the second style - pattern for you, however I could so
    see MC in a top hat. What would Nora { from Nick & Nora wear?}

    1. AAAW - that's the cutest customization I've ever seen - Nice work MC! (sorry for the lost 7 hours I am sure you've spent on this site...it's a votex!!!)

  3. The second pattern is my favorite as well.

  4. Holy cow I never knew this even existed!! what a great idea! I'm particular to the Dior pattern, but I think it's the luxe fabric. I would love to do the same one day when I get married, because I want my mom to make my dress!

  5. How will you ever pick just one? Can't wait to see what you decide on!
