dressed up like a lady: Knit on knit.

Oct 18, 2012

Knit on knit.

Long cardigan: Banana Republic, thrifted
Microfiber tights: Sockdreams
Heels: Jessica Simpson
Sunnies: Random TJ Maxx find
Bag: Coach, mom's
Scarf: Asos

When in doubt, keep laying. It's been getting so dang chilly lately!

Sometimes GBear has these finicky five-year old moments where she forgets what it feels like to be under-dressed for the weather, and starts whining about having to wear a cardigan AND a jean jacket (it's not winter-coat season here yet, but it's frigid and wet in the mornings). So we have to do this little ritual where we let her just put on one or the other, and then wait until she steps out the door and immediately starts whining that she's freezing. All so that she can go back into the house and put on another layer as a matter of her own choice. Meanwhile, I'm always drowning in sweaters, and have extra and/or discarded ones littering every room of the house -- not to mention the car, where that same chilly five year old is fond of draping one of my cardigans over her legs and calling it a Cammila Blanket. :)
