Okay so uh, some friends at work (cough*BLAIR!*cough) were giving me shit about how I don't post my full cold-weather ensembles. I'm a champion ball-buster so I can't exactly complain about taking guff. But you asked for it, so here you go!
In fairness, if I showed you guys my coat every day, it would get repetitive, because most work days it's just the same Canadian military army surplus parka. So how about I show you the difference between what I wear if I have to run outside for 2 minutes vs. 10 minutes? Or have to walk through a plowed vs. unplowed parking lot?

Boom. I bought this hat for an ex-boyfriend and he didn't want it so I kept it and broke up with him. Just kidding. Sort of. Also: These mittens were made for me by my sis-in-law Alessandra, who lined the insides with cashmere recycled from pretty sweaters. They're awesome. I'll take an up close picture of them tomorrow. I'd bet she'd make you some for a pittance on Etsy.
